Live from SubUrbia

Hi

I'm Ali and I have started this Blog, Live from SubUrbia. Many people will ask, what is this all about? I will shrewdly avoid to set any limits for this Blog for now. It is too premature to set any limits, in fact why set any limits at all?

Another thing they will ask is why it is called: Live from SubUrbia. The only possibly appropriate explanation could be that I live in the suburban outskirts of Lahore, that's why! Over the time the Lahore suburbs have been submerged into the main Lahore. But still they retain the very characteristics of the suburbs. All this may sound too bourgeois! I used to hate this bourgeois thing about us, but over the time I have realized this might be sad but also true, and not too sad if you don't think about it that way.

Anyways that's all for now.
